Working principle
Unlike gland packing along the stem as seen in Globe valves, it has Bellows, that enable the tight sealing mechanism. This element prevents the fluid from contacting the stem of the valve. The Bellow will be welded to the stem and bonnet, providing a bounded seal. The movement of the disc/plug against the stationary ring seat controls the flow. As the valve opens and closes the bellows expand and contract, which enables the valve stem to move without breaking the seal. Extra protection in the case will be provided by secondary seals like O-rings.
